Frank L. Hung, founder of Harvard Management Services,
Inc., a pioneer in the field of management consulting and training,
was a lecturer at National Chengchi University in 1968 when he
graduated from the University of Hawaii with a MBA degree.
Teaching management and marketing at the university
and working closely with industry have won him a reputation as
an innovative marketing practitioner. His first experience was
to successful launch Scott packaged paper in Taiwan market.
Before he established HMS in 1973, he worked as
a marketing specialist in an advertising company-marketing manager
in Taiwan Scott Paper, and an associate Professor at National
Chengchi University.
He wrote Taiwan Marketing Cases(1975), Consumer
Behavior(1967), Market Analysis(1976), We believe(1980, 1983,
1990). He also serves as publisher for Management Magazine and
Breakthrough Magazine. Both Magazines are recognized as reputable
professional monthlies, have wide circulation in Taiwan as well
as Southeast Asia and Mainland China.
